Kittens (under about six months) play and learn (defense and hunting) by biting each other on the neck. These bites are harmless. Males about six to 16 months learn about being male by biting (usually smaller cats) on the back and side of the neck. Since the males are learning, their biting can go overboard sometimes, in which case the other cat will use rabbit kicking to let it know, and if the male doesn\\\’t then let up, the other cat will give a serious bite to a paw or leg which will cause the male to stop right away. The male\\\’s bite is not meant to inflict harm, just to hold the other cat in position. In going overboard, they might stay too long affecting breathing or circulation. But you would not answer my questions above, so I don\\\’t know if this answers your question.

He might be fighting 4 territorial rights.Try putting a tiny dab of vanilla lotion on all the noses of all the cats.Do this once a week or maybe more if needed. This causes all the cats to smell the same & most of the time brings peace.Tell me if this helps.=)
