I walk by my cat when she is looking out the window. And then she notices me and she jumps on my leg! Why does she do that?! She also does it when she’s riled up!

This is most likely because she’s playing with you(or trying to). When you walk in the room she’s probably thinking “Oh look! A fun game–Attacking mommy’s feet!” or something like that. Is she a younger cat? That would really explain why. Try getting her some toys like a long string with a ball/small toy on the end and having her chase it etc., and see if maybe she’ll stop chasing you feet.

No, I know what she does when she wants to play. She's a very unique cat, she was born on the streets. She usually runs up to us and then stops and runs back when she wants to play. But she just looks at me and then either ignores me or stalks and jumps me.
