My kitty is nice to me when she is sleepy, but not when she WANTS to go to sleep. Like I pick up her bed when she is resting and she is quiet. And ever sense we took her to the vet, she won’t let me pick her up as much. She’ll hiss at me!

I wouldn’t pick up cats when they sleep. Same things with kids when they wake up in the morning. “Five for minutes, mom!” Cats feel the same way, so don’t pick your cat up when it’s sleeping…and you should be fine.

how is it NOT an answer?? this person doesn't understand why the cat is mean to her when it "WANTS" to be asleep? if you wake up a person, they'd be upset. if you wake up your cat, it's going to be upset.

Watch your mouth! If you talk to a person when they are tired, they get pissed at you, right? So does my kitty! And then when I pick her bed up when she's in it, she doesn't mind! That's my point! Sorry I didn't explain it very well.

i would hiss at you if you woke me up, too! just don’t pick up your cat while it is sleeping. your cat doesn’t like that. when a cqat hisses, it means “hey, buddy! lay off!”. do you know what i mean?
