The fact that you\\\’re having to look to an Internet discussion forum for someone to take your kittens saddens me. Please have your cat spayed now that she has had her litter. There is absolutely ZERO reason to contribute to the overpopulation of cats (or dogs!) in our nation\\\’s shelters.
Some statistics from http://www.almosthomerescue.org/spayneuter/spayneuter.htm:
* Some 70,000 puppies and kittens are born every day in the U.S.
* Between four million and six million pets are euthanized every year because they are homeless.
* That means between 11,000 and 16,000 pets are euthanized every day simply because they are homeless.
* An animal in a shelter is killed every 1.5 seconds.
* Only one animal in 10 born in the U.S. gets a good home that lasts a lifetime.
Why would you want to be a part of that vicious cycle? Please spay her. Even if those kittens find homes, they are taking the place of a cat already in a shelter.
