u should get one from a kill shelter because your saving a cat’s life. you would also be saving other cat’s lives because so many people are going to be going to no kill shelter’s that they’re gonna be piling up, and other cats will have to go to kill shelters. my friend told me that

you could get one at petfinder.com. You can not only get a cat but any animal you would like. Of course not like a racoon or sumthin. And when you do get a cat from there you are also saving a cats life. Some like the persians are a little expensive but are worth it.

Claws because they are a non kill shelter.
Local pounds kill the animals. Claws
in Sussex NJ is GREAT! They get the
cats used to humans, being held, and
getting their nails trimmed. They also
have litterboxes so the cats know
what they are when you get them.
and rescues and shelters are the same thing.

Don’t get one from a pet store. There are cats in humane societies, pounds, and rescue centers that might be put to sleep if they don’t find a home. The ones from the pet store normally don’t, and are bought out anyway. So humane societies, pounds, and rescue centers, would probably be your best bet.

Definately get a cat from a shelter. Save a life! Plus, cats from pet stores are often disease ridden.
