All Paws Rescue in Ft Smith (you can find it on the list sent by Ziggy) is a no-kill rescue. They should be able to give you info on what you can do. If you are able to pay for spay/neuter of the cats, Angel Paws in Arkoma, OK (1 mile West of Fort Smith) offers $30 surgery for cats. You can contact them at 479-652-0580. As long as you can get the cats there, they will take them. They also offer vaccinations. I think those are only $5-$8. Something like that.

If you are unsure of who to contact, I\\\’d contact Best Friends Animal Society ((435) 644-2001). They are the largest no-kill shelter in the US. They are also the shelter that took in the Michael Vick dogs and the shelter that is featured in Dog Town. They probably can\\\’t help directly but they can tell you who they work with in Arkansas that might be able to help you.

This might be a good opportunity to start a trap-neuter-release program in your area (or join one that already exists). Maybe one of the rescue organizations can tell you how to start that and get funding for it.
