I think getting another kitten might help. I have a litter of kittens if you want one. But I am in San Bernardino, California. I don’t know where you are.

Unfortunatly losing a cat or any other pet is devestating(well to some people).I’ve lost cats and getting a new kitten always seemed to help me.They give you something to laugh at and remind you of your other cat.

I am so sorry to hear this!
Two of my closest friends just lost two of their four cats several months apart! They were both old and had been with the couple since kittenhood. It was devastating to them AND their two remaining cats.
It’s really hard to say what to do - you don’t want to get a new cat too quickly because everyone needs time to adjust (you and your remaining cat). You can’t possibly replace whom you’ve lost, but you can certainly embrace new family members when everyone is ready.
My advice is to take your time. Don’t jump into it just to fill a void. Take time to mourn and, when everyone is ready, begin the search for a new family member.
