How ever many times you wish to feed your cat per day is fine. Just make sure you are feeding the proper amount per day and are not over doing it.

For example… the average amount to feed an adult cat per day is 5.5 ounces of high quality canned or raw food. You could feed one feeding of 5.5 ounces or 2 feedings of 2.75 ounces or 3 feedings of 1.8 ounces and so on. It’s really up to you and your cat.

We choose to feed our cats 3 times a day. They eat a strictly raw diet and get fed chicken 2 times per day at 7:30am before we leave for work and 5:30om when we get home. Then we offer an evening snack of Rabbit at 9:30 or 10ish.

You have to remember that in the wild… cats eat when they can. They may catch a rabbit one day and eat all at once not needing to hunt again until the next day. Or they may catch bugs all day and eat lots of little small meals. Sometimes… they may not even eat at all. It just depends on hunting that day.

Work out a schedule that works for both you and your cat, just remember not to deviate from the total amount that you feed if you decide to do multiple feedings per day.

You could try leaving a reasonable amount in her bowl, and let that last her for the day. If she goes outside, she can hunt if she’s still hungry.

I would give it food at about noon and that should last it to the next day (at noon)

A cat, should usually eat twice a day, but it really depends on your cats weight and health.

Cats should never be over-fed, because they can become obese, and it can cause health problems in their later years.

Also, cats vomit if they have too much, and it will cost alot of money if you feed them an excessive amount of food.
