My mom is going to get rid of Leafpool if she dosent get cured from her sickness(cold but a very bad one)till the end of september!!!please help me get her to let Leafpool to stay!!!

All you need to do is explain to your mom that when you got the cat that you agreed to keep it happy, and healthy. Take it to a vet, and see what they can do about it. It is totally wrong to give away an animal just because it is sick… She should be helping Leafpool get better.

yes i agree with you hippy, giving the cat away because it is sick is just cruel. Just tell your mom you need to take leafpool to the vet.

A pet is part of the family. That is the way that I see it. When our puppy ate a box of rat poison, my husband wanted to just put her to sleep, and she had just eaten it. I explained to him that if we just took her to the vet or emergancy hospital, that they could save her life. He was worried about the cost of it. But I told him that a pet if like a family member. And if our Child was sick we would take it to the doctor or the hospital. Why not the puppy. So I talked him into taking her to the hospital where they made her all better, and now she is home and doing really well. And getting big too.
I told you this story to better help you understand where I was coming from on this. Tell your mom the same thing, and she might just listen to you.
When you get a pet, you are promising that pet that you would be there for it. To feed it, give it water, bathe it, vaccinate it, spay or neuteur it, love it, play with it, etc. Don’t let your mom turn her back on your pet just because it is sick. Take it to the vet, get your pet better, make sure that your pet is updated on its shots, and make sure that it is fixed.

Some people do not have money and for those that do not the vet should give there services at no charge. After all they did go into the Vet bussiness to help pets right? We have pet insurance it pays for everything. But it is expensive. I think you yourself should call the vet and talk to them about helping your pet and explain to them that you need a little assitance with paying. I am sure if you speak to them about it they will help you out.

pet insurance never actually works. it is usually about 30 dollars a month, while in the whole year... a cat only needs about 50 dollars in medical bills. pet insurance is such a rip off
