cats can be trained to understand some words, but its not like you can have a conversation with them. like my cat understands her name, what i sound like when i’m mad, sad, and other emotions. she especially likes it when i call “MIST, TIME FOR DINNER!!!” she learns to eventually learns to translate that dinner means those rabbit shaped droppings that taste like meat.
