You can get any kind of dog that the space you have will allow! Don’t coop a big dog up in a tiny house without yard space! When you move, go to your local shelter (if you go to a “kill” shelter you can save a life!!!) and find a dog that you click with.

I agree that a shelter is the best place to go for a new companion. As far as what kind of dog is concerned, that depends on where you are moving to. Dogs like (and need) a lot of exercise, so if you get a larger dog, make sure you have a safe fenced in yard for him/her to play in. (Of course small dogs need a fenced in area as well.) Also be aware that long haired breeds need regular hair grooming. What ever you decide on, enjoy your new furry companion! And please adopt a shelter pet and save a life!

plz plz plz plz plz something SMALL!cuz about a year from now i was walking my pom-pom coco and as soon as i got to the drive way a big big dog came and grabed him by his back and………
