There is really no way to know if a new cat and your cat are going to bond, reguardless of the breed.

Any friendly cat should be good. I dont think there has to be a certain match.

You never know what breeds will bond. But It depends if it is female or male. I would get another felmale if its a girl, and another make if its a male. Just make sure the males get used to eachother for a while. Your first cat may claim the house as its territory and when another male or female comes he or she may feel invaded and start to fight, so thats why its best to get 2 females.
