i think the most popular color for cats is white
b/c almost every single cat has to have some white on them no matter if its just a little.
oh and i also think that short haired cats are most common

Actually, I think about the most common are black and white, tiger looking, white, and black. Also orange colors are pretty common. I rarely see calico, but when i lived in a different neighborhood(this is when we first adopted our eldest cat, Benny) we had a calico! (little did we know that benny and franklin–the calico– were girls!) Our little Franklin went missing though. We lived near some woods…and we would sometimes hear wild animals. One time we let Benny and Franklin outside, and never saw poor Franklin again! everytime i see a calico…i think of little Franklin. Please be careful where you live when you let your cats out, and if you DO live near wild animals or woods, to make sure your cat knows survival skills and also has claws. Hope this helps!

I also, to, think short hairs are mist common. Both or my cats are short haired, and all of the strays/neighbor's cats in our neighborhood are short haired except for one(who is grey and white with pretty long fur).

I agree with kekekitten. mixes are very commom. grey white and black white. also white is VERY commom.

thanks maniecoon8! Yeah there's soooo many different kinds of colors. Grey is pretty common too! Don't worry about your spelling! There is one person on here though that corrects it ALL the time....gets annoying!

white and orange. russian bleus are accually grey. so…grey,orange and white in my DNA.
