I recently adopted what I thought was an overweight tab.
Now I have found out she is a Maine Coon at 8 months.
So I had a few questions about her, I know it’ll be good to brush her,
as I’ve had a maine coon before but that was quite some time ago..
Should I be feeding her more often/bigger portions than my other cat?
She seems satisfied with what we’ve been giving her..
She’s not likely purebred but she is huge and has alot of features/characteristics.
When will she get that big fluff of tail or being a mix might she not get one?
Other than that there’s not alot, she opens the bottom cabinets and hangs out in there.
She has no trouble getting out either. It’s pretty cute to see but makes her kinda noisey..
Wanna see her?

She looks more like a Brown Mackeral Tabby. The Maine Coon is generally noted for its large bone structure, its rectangular body shape, and a long, flowing coat. She would already have the full tail if she was going to.

She loves that catnip mouse toy (in the pic) she was rubbing it all over her face like crazy and then she slept on it. It was really cute. Hiss is one of the cats that doesn’t respond to catnip, which in a way is good because she is hyper enough as it is.

What a cutie!
I would feed her according to the weight chart on the food you use.
You never know with the tail… with mixed breeds you never know what you’re going to get in terms of appearance!

She could very well be mixed with Maine Coon as most Domestic Short Hairs are a mix of many breeds.
