I just got my first kitty, we are unsure of his breed however. I showed pictures to a lady at work and she thinks he might be a bengal cat. After reading about the tempermants of this breed, I could believe it. He’s extremely playful and pounces pretty much everywhere he goes. He loves his tummy rubbed and to bite at me when playing. Also, he’s extremely vocal, sounding sort of raccoon like. I can supply pictures…just unsure how to post or if I can

You can certainly post pictures for people to look at - just describing his temperament isn\\\’t enough to make any educated guess. Unfortunately, though, without knowing his parentage, you won\\\’t ever know for certain what he is.

You should use the internet to look up bengal. You could probably find dozens of photos, and at some cat sites, there are descriptions. If it is not a bengal, go to a site with cat breeds and click on breeds. You can find pictures, breed standards, history of that breed, etc. In reading breed standards, be careful not to assume too much. For instance, \\\’The Main Coon has an \\\’M\\\’ on its forehead\\\’. Well, most do, but not every cat with an \\\’M\\\’ is a Main Coon. There are many breeds that have cats with an \’M\’.

He may be a saimese or a tabby and white or a Norwegian shorthair or a abyssan.
