About Me: My name is Alyssa, I'm really into the gothic culture and I love tripp pants and I tease my hair so I can look like a lion RAWR! I'm currently diagnosed with major depression/anxiety disorder. While I was in the hospital I asked my parents if I could have either a puppy or kitten to be a companion. I decided that I want a kitten and am now on the search for the perfect breed for me. I've wanted a kitten since I was a little girl and I now have this chance. The only pets I have now are 4 hermit crabs and I used to have a dog. He was a shi-tzu, Spanky.

Personal Interests: Music, video games, reading, horror movies, the goth culture, color guard, cosmetology

Cats:
  • Lindy - Domestic Short Hair

Cat Health

My dog had a seizure when he was very old. It's very scary to see an animal go through such a painful experience. My advice is to listen to the vet and simply wait and see if the cat improves or has another seizure. Follow up with the doctor in a week or so. It might be a good thing to check out what you feed the cat but if there is no problem with the food then you can probably conclude that this was a unfortunate experience that we all hope your cat never has to go through again.

Cat Adoption

Would you rather have a cat or dog? Truly, dogs do take up more time but it's the decision of the owner of which is more compatible. Cats do tend to take care of themselves more but might like to be more independent. Dogs need lots of care and time but always want your attention and can be very loving playful pets. It really probably depends on how much time you have and what would make you feel more comfortable and which animal would be more comfortable in your home.

Cat Behavior

Cats.com is a website, not the actual world. Who cares who's friends with who on a website about cats? Go on myspace or facebook if all you care about are friends. What did this person do to you that was so bad? I doubt you two know eachother in real life. If you do then you have a reason to not like them but if you don't know them then don't try to get everyone else to hate them, too!

Cat Tales

Look everyone, don't get mad at me for saying this but I think we all know the truth by now. We already KNOW that the poster does this for attention andyet we still comment on these questions but then say how they're just doing it for attention. YOU ARE GIVING THEM THE ATTENTION THEY WANT! I think we should face that most of us only answer on these questions to get a few extra points and blow internet bullying out of proportion. What will this get us at all? Other than extra points for answering a question. These people don't matter a thing in our lives and shouldn't be a big deal on the internet either. How about we use this site for what it was made for, to talk about and ask valuable questions about cats.
