About Me: I never had cats as a little girl. We bred dogs! Then, in the same year, my brother got a cat, my sister got a cat and I got a cat. I became a cat person instantly! I do still love all other animals...
Personal Interests: Sports, movies, books (definitely, books). I love architecture and traveling.
Catsofmany is right. As for medicating your cat, I usually spread a towel on the floor and put the cat in the middle. As I pet him, I wrap the towel around him making sure it\\\'s not too tight but that his paws (and sharp claws) are inside it. Then I pick him up (as I normally would) and put the syringe to the side of his mouth. I usually give him the medicine little by little because, otherwise, he\\\'ll spit it right out. You can use the same towel method and give him the medicine on the floor or on a counter. I just prefer to pick him up so he doesn\\\'t rely on his hind legs to wiggle out of the towel. Good luck!
You need to socialize both animals. They probably won\\\'t be friends but they will coexist. Keep them separated when you are not around. Schedule supervised visits. Start out with the cat in a kennel and let the dog sniff all he wants. It\\\'s normal if the cat hisses at him. As part of your visits put a little bit of cat food in a bowl inside the kennel and place another bowl with dog food outside the kennel. Have them eat together but with a physical barrier (the kennel). Slowly, you\\\'ll see your dog lose interest in the kennel and the cat. Then you should be able to have visits without the kennel. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO LEAVE YOUR DOG AND CAT TOGETHER UNATTENDED. This process takes a couple of weeks but if you stick to it, you\\\'ll probably get positive results.

I will not go into a debate about whether or not you should smoke marijuana. That is totally your choice. Remember, your cat has no choice. I don\\\'t really think your cats joins you because of the pot. It probably joins you because it sees an opportunity to hang out with you and your girlfriend. Personally, I smoke cigarettes and I try not to smoke around my cats because I figure their lungs are very small and any kind of smoke is toxic. I choose to smoke (even knowing all the health risks I put myself through... which are most probably worse that the health risks of marijuana) but I don\\\'t smoke around people who choose not to and I extend that courtesy to my cats. Hope this helped. =)

I had the same problem. I bought Sergeant\'s Flea-Free Breeze at Walmart. I looks like a cheap knock-off of Febreze but it really did the trick and it eliminates pet odors, too (double whammy!). Read the instructions carefully. It says that it may be hazardous if swallowed but it drys fairly quickly so I wouldn\'t worry too much about your cat getting sick. Remember to spray the sofas and beds. Fleas live there, too. Hope this helped.
