try to get a long stick then tie a small plastic on the end of it. then move it slowly in front of him until he noticed it. just slowly because if you move it faster you might scare the cat.

i think the female cat didn\\\'t recognize the male cat because of his looks wet and i think dirty.it happens also one time with my cats.i just separated them with each other and when my dirty and wet cat already cleanse himself they came back again as old buddies... i dont believe on letting the cats fight to death.because yes it\\\'s true they are animal and it\\\'s their instinct, but we are the humans and should take care of them.
i think you should put some of his pee on the litter box. but wait is your cat a male cat??? because male cats as i observe, really pee anywhere they like to, unlike female cats.
