You don't need to trim your cat's nails if it's been scratching trees or your furniture, but take your cat to the vet if his nails get too long, or else your cats nails will curl right back into his paw.
It's not that its a different kind of breed, it's just a birth defect, because I've seen cats of the same breeds with even 7 toes on each paw. (Kinda scary if you ask me)

Well, I wouldn't say to feed your cat anything you think your cat wants and needs, but I DO have a cat that LOVES cheese-its. I don't really feed him them, but about once a month I would. If at any time your cat gets sick, just stop feeding him those things. I've experienced that cats don't get sick if you feed them sea food or tuna, just don't over feed them. (Don't feed your cat sugar at all)
Just try different cat foods, that includes soft cat foods to hard cat foods. You can also try hard cat foods mixed with milk or water. You can feed your kitten milk, but don't feed it milk when its over 3 years old, I hear it's bad for their health.
