I think it could be a disease called cherry-eye. It is common in dogs, but i don't know about cats. You should bring your cat to a vet right away.

Look at how big it is,How it walks, How it jumps, and If its a girl, see if its had kittens. this can tell you that it is younger than or older than 4 months old.
I think you should let a vet take care of this. he may have pooped something out that he wasn't supposed to.

This is not uncommon. It is just marking his territory.Are there any cats around taunting him or anything? My cats started spraying all over the place during mating season because there were cats outside.
