if he\'s stopping you sleeping its worth keeping him awake for longer during the day and playing with him lots to wear him out (but stop well before you go to bed or he\\\'ll still be hyper while you\'re trying to sleep!) he also needs to learn that when you get into bed its not play time any more so no matter what he does don\'t play with him! Put him on top of the covers and try and ignor him, Maybe give him a toy like a piece of string (or my cats\' favourite, a pen) and hopefully he\'ll wear himself out and go to sleep good luck!

Remember its a baby and used to spending all its time with its mother and siblings so its probably loney. Also I don`t know what its like where you are, but here cats mostly sleep during the day and are away at night (but days are v hot here) so its possible he just doesn`t want to sleep at the same time as you. I have a new kitten the same age and he spends all day asleep on someones lap and as soon as its dark he gets up to play. He was also a stray so important point to remember... he\\\'s probably confident outside and thinks its pooing is something you do outside. Give him time and if possible take him outside sometimes to play and poo and w/e (don\\\'t be too scared of him running away it sounds like he already thinks you\\\'re mummy!)
