ya i agree with jpete but make sure that u keep the cat door open when u r gone if he is outside so he wont be trapped outside. maybe u could play with him more and get him some mice-like toys or something. :) hope this helped

my dog is afraid too, which i no is a little easier than a cat, but i put lavender essential oil on her collar and it helps to calm her down. also i spray some bach rescue remedy spray on her food and nose.
