I have a similar problem, and I recently bought a \\\"Cat Tower\\\" from Walmart for $50. They are really starting to warm up to it now, they use it for scratching, jumping, sleeping. It\\\'s also great for my older cat to show her dominance over the kitten, without having her jump up on the table! However if your cats are like mine they will always be wanting to sit wherever you are, which means the furniture. But if you have enough toys like the cat tower, cat nip mice etc...to preoccupy them they\\\'ll be too tired to use your other furniture like a jungle gym. Hope this helps!
