some dogs and cats aren't mean to each other.Mostly,if they are tho,it's because of territories,or their instinct.Dogs probably know cats are "prey",and are easy targets if you can run them down.That's probably why dogs sometimes kill cats

My grandparent's cat Cody is 19 years old,and he gets human food every now and again(pretty rarely tho).He's living breathing proof that you can feed your cats human food,but rarely and in small amounts.4 slices a day is WAY too much...
