Kitties have cycles. Not in the way us humans do. However, the best way to avoid this and the \"little\" issues that arise while they are in heat is to spay you girl. Spaying is the most reasponsible and loving thing we as pet owners can do. With millions of animals being \\\"put down\\\" in shelters every year, the last thing we want is to add to the population! Even if we have \\\"homes\\\" for the kittens, those folks can go to the shelter and save one from death. So, by spaying you will have limited your kitties \\\"mood swings\\\", given her a healthier and happier life and most important ... you will have done the reasponsible thing.... God Bless

Cat Behavior
Kitties are much like humans... they have different fears. Most of my kitties are afraid of the vacum, however I do have one, Benny, that actually loves to be vacumed. He will follow the vacum around until I stop and \\\"vacum him\\\". So, your baby may never get use to the vacum, however, don\\\'t lose heart, Kitties are great at hiding when something scares them and I have never witnessed any emotional stress after the vacum is turned off or shortly thereafter.
