Cat Behavior

Hello. I got an 8 week old kitten yesterday and need some help getting it litter trained. my other two cats were the same age when i got them abd using the box already and needed no assistance. the difference is that they were inside and using little boxes before gettin them. this little girl (who is still nameless for now) has been outside since birth. i have made her aware of the little box and scrathed her paw in it but i dont think she gets it. it has only been a day so i realize it may take time just want some advice since i havent litler trained a cat myself. thanks!!

Cat Behavior

Most cats that experience stomach upsets may have some type of food allergy. It also doesn't hurt to supplement any diet with a daily multi-vitamin. Cats also use this as a type of gas pressure release.Have you ever heard your cat burp? Cats are considered grazers and should have access to food all day like dry kibble. Try to stay away from feeding cans of soft cat food once per day that are gobbled down which can cause stomach upset of gas pressure. You can also provide your cat an in-house greenery. Most pet stores now carry cat grass that can be grown right in your windowsill. Cheers, http://frontline-plus-for-cats.blogspot.com

Feed him a premium quality (not grocery store brand) kitten food - as much as he'll eat. Do NOT feed him an adult cat food because it won't contain the nutrient values that a growing kitten needs. When choosing a food, try to find one that contains little or no grain products. Innova Evo is a fine food with no grains. Remember to make any dietary changes gradually to avoid digestive upsets.
