Cat Adoption
If you put an ad in the paper, I am sure that there are people that will call wanting a kitten. And also for the young ones, if you take them to a pet shop, they may take them and they will get a good home there. In April I found a litter of 6 kittens and I had to bottle feed them all because the mother was a stray and she abandoned them on the roof. So when they got to be 8 weeks old, I got all of them their first shots and put an ad on KIJIJI.COM Free Kittens to Good Home and within 2 weeks they were all gone. And some of the people keep in touch with me to let me know how the kittens are doing. You could also put up flyers for them at stores and schools too. Good luck.

Cat Care
Male cat's are NOT like humans. When they are not neutured, they tend to spray and you can not get the smell out of the furniture. They roam away from home, which can get them run over by cars, attacked by stray or loose dogs, and the neighborhood will soon be over ran with stray cats. The cats are much happier when they are neutured. And they do not fight over who is the alfa cat in your house. They will not fight as much with other cats that are outside of your home. Male cats can start breeding and spraying at about 7 to 8 months of age. Think about it, your dad is a male and he is thinking about how HE would feel if he was fixed, not a cat. The cat does not know the difference. My two cats are fixed and they are happy and healthy kitties. My advice, get all your pets spayed and neutured. God Bless you
Cat Adoption
A pet is part of the family. That is the way that I see it. When our puppy ate a box of rat poison, my husband wanted to just put her to sleep, and she had just eaten it. I explained to him that if we just took her to the vet or emergancy hospital, that they could save her life. He was worried about the cost of it. But I told him that a pet if like a family member. And if our Child was sick we would take it to the doctor or the hospital. Why not the puppy. So I talked him into taking her to the hospital where they made her all better, and now she is home and doing really well. And getting big too. I told you this story to better help you understand where I was coming from on this. Tell your mom the same thing, and she might just listen to you. When you get a pet, you are promising that pet that you would be there for it. To feed it, give it water, bathe it, vaccinate it, spay or neuteur it, love it, play with it, etc. Don't let your mom turn her back on your pet just because it is sick. Take it to the vet, get your pet better, make sure that your pet is updated on its shots, and make sure that it is fixed. God Bless you and Good luck with your kitty.
Cat Behavior
Some cats bite when they are in a new surounding and they also may be doing that to show the other cat that they are the alfa male or alfa female. basically the boss. The kitten could be trying to play as well.
