I think you might have mistaken that \\\"thing\\\" for a little kitten. They do look all pinkish and have no fur plus their blind. Just wait a week. The cat will look fine.

Is your cat in the age range of 2 mon.- 5years? Then wait till they are in the age range of 6 years-20years. they will probably stop by then.
Cat Adoption
It is to hard to even take care of 6 cats. I have 6 cats. But taking care of a baby and 13 cats does not sound like a good idea. No way, you should not get ANOTHER cat. No way jose!

Cat Behavior
Keep the cats in cages with food water and a litterbox or lock the kids in their rooms! Send them to time out every time they do that or pet the cats and keep the kids away from the cats at all times.
