Check with your vet first. If your cat still vomits alot -- Is this a new kitten? Does he throw up right after he eats? Does it look like undigested food? Sometimes changing food too quickly will cause vomitting. I lived with my kitties vomitting for a year -- the vet said they had IBD but I decovered it was their food. Even tho the food was vet recommended I learned it wasn't premium food. Once I slowly changed food the vomitting quit. Something to try.

A kitten will add stress on your old cat. Kittens are so active. Maybe an older cat. I would check with your vet first. There may be a health problem.
I used to have that problem as well, but no more since I started cleaning the area with bleach. Ants hate bleach and doesn't harm your cat. Good Luck.
