Cat Care

I don't think you can tell a cats age just by looking at it.My cat who is 18 still looks young. He doesn't get around very well but if he was just sitting around you couldn't tell he was old.And you can't tell he's 18 by how he moves. He could be older or younger than 18 and still get around like he does.

Cat Behavior

My cat Chloe does the same thing!!People say to grab your cat by the scruff to calm it down(I don't know how but it seems to work). But it seems cruel to go around grabbing you r cat by the scruff doesn't it.Well I think it sounds cruel.Anyway a squirt bottle works, but when your cat bites you you would have to go and get it,then disipline him.But by this time the cat won't know what it did wrong, biting you or walking away.Telling them"No!!'and showing them you are the boss is probably the best answer.

To keep from running over him check under the car before you drive away.If you don't want to do that then just keep the garage door closed so he can't get inside.

Cat Behavior

It's possible your cat feels secure on the bed.If so,try petting her on the bed, then gently pick her up and take her to another room.If she freaks out set her down and let her re-group,then try again.Hopefully after a while she will get used to you taking her to another room and let you do this.Probably once she has gotten used to you taking her to another room, she will let you pet her in any other room.
