About Me: I\\\'m Danish living in London, UK. I grew up with all kinds of farm animals around me and my fair share of random raggedy pets. With animals you never know what you have till it\\\'s gone and I have recently been allowed a cat in my flat in London and am over the moon to be owned by my lovely \\\"Chat Noir\\\" Poe.

Personal Interests: Punk rock, gigs, animal behaviour, books with actual content, supernatural stuff (but with a huuuuge pinch of salt), environmetally friendly living, sunshine and cool, ordinary, interesting people with one foot on the ground and the other firmly floating in la-la-land...

Cat Behavior

I\\\'m having some problems with this site. I\\\'m trying to reply or to comment and then my comments etc disappear. Am I going nuts? I\\\'m also not getting any notification emails. So I\\\'m sorry if I\\\'m messing things up a little.

Cat Feeding

Cats need different vitamins and minerals to humans, so if you are thinking to serve your cat exactly the same food as you eat then it\\\'s very wrong. It might want to eat it and actually like it, but just like with humans - what we want and what\\\'s good for us is usually not the same thing. Good cat food is best, but even cheaper cat food is better for you cat than the food you would normally eat. The people who make cat food make it very specifically to be the right combination of good stuff for your cat. Giving your cat a bit of bacon or something like that once in a while as a treat is not bad though. Just make sure it\\\'s only a little bit or your cat will get spoiled and want just steak! (No, OK, maybe not, but they can be pretty stubborn about food if they want to be). Also what is important to remember is that some human food is like poison to your cat! Below is a link to a list of things you should never feed your cat, not even as a treat.
