Thanks To All of You for your concerns. Pootie is now at Rainbow Bridge and we will meet again. http://www.indigo.org/rainbowbridge_ver2.html
I cannot see the vet again until tomorrow. I took him on Wednesday she said he was very very dehydrated and he is now on antibiotics and vitamins. I am continuing the Pedialite ( sometimes 1 teaspoon sometimes a tablespoon, even a 1/4 cup or morte at times) every hour or so. His tummy is just way fat. I gave him a little milk also and pureed some food for him. I have not seen him go to the bathroom or seen anything in the box. The vet said it could be liver, pancreaitis or cancer They are not sure but, that he should haved turned around by last Friday. He seems better but, is still weak and kinda drags his behind and stuff. He is hiding from me a little. He just wants to be left alone but, I am not giving up on him. Even though he is not urinating or deficating is it alright to keep up with the pedialite and stuff ???????? Should I try a laxative or just wait for the vet ??????? I have spent over $150 He is well worth it but, I am on disaBILITY. I read about pumpkin being a good laxative ?????
