I don't know. I thought you could because my mom has some de-worming stuff for my dog, piper.I think she buys it too ,but I'm not positive.And I know that Piper is a dog but it should be the same for cats.

You can try to just wipe her or his eyes out.Keep them as clean as you can.I pretty sure cats get matters.In fact the kitten I found I think has matter problems.I just have to wipe her or his eyes.
